< />Barn Owls breed throughout New Jersey and are common throughout the state's rural areas, with heavy concentrations in agricultural areas and along the coast. The video above is a live feed of Molly, a Barn Owl, and her four owlets (soon to be five). A couple in San Marcos, CA had this owl box built two years ago in their backyard, but this is the first time it's being used. Molly, a first time mom, laid six eggs in February. So far, four of the eggs have hatched and there's only one left to go (one egg was eaten by Molly because it was not viable). The four owlets have been named Max, Pattison, Austin and Wesley. Check back frequently to see when the last egg hatches. If you're a night owl you might even be able to see McGee, the father, stop by!
