BirdCapeMay.org: Arrival of Cattle Egret


Tom Reed reported this Cattle Egret, which is feeding on worms on the edge of flood water at the Presbyterian
church, right on the roadside at the junction of Seashore and Academy Roads in Cold Spring.

By Don Freiday on March 16: "Tom Reed had a Cattle Egret just north of the Cape May Canal this morning, along Seashore Road at its junction with Academy Road. Mike Crewe found the season's first Purple Martins, 3 birds on wires along Bayshore Road near Stimpson."
