The NJ Hunter Education Program is annually rated as one of the finest education programs in the country. Last year they saw an increase of 21% in our graduates and anticipate a greater increase in students this year. With this anticipated increase in students they are in need of assistance at teaching facilities for test proctors and facility greeters. No hunting experience is required, just the ability to assist our students as they arrive at the class and complete the written exam.

Volunteer duties will include the following assignments:

-Greet students at door and check for completed homework. All students are required to complete a workbook before they arrive at our classes. Greeters are needed to check that these workbooks are completely filled out. Workbooks are not checked for correctness as the students are tested on this information throughout the day.

-
Hand out written exams and scan forms (answer sheets) to students as they complete their outdoor requirements and return to the classroom to take the written exam.

-
Assist students with learning disabilities requesting an oral examination.
-
Hand out course completion cards to successful students.

Classes are conducted on the weekend and weekdays from 8:00am - 3:00pm at teaching locations throughout the state. Those who may be interested in assisting in this endeavor or in need of additional information should contact the following hunter education administrators.
