Wild New Jersey Exclusive: Winter at Turtle Back Zoo

You might think winter is the off-season for the zoos of New Jersey. But for most of the animals at Turtle Back Zoo, this winter has been ideal. On a recent visit by Wild New Jersey's David Wheeler, the wolves, cougars, leopards, bison, black bears, and red pandas were far more active and visible than they are a warmer day. And for the human visitors, the Reptile House offered a chance to warm up.
Turtle Back Zoo sits on 15.5 acres in West Orange, New Jersey. You can also visit Turtle Back Zoo's website directly here Turtle Back Zoo.
