The Express Times: New Jersey residents make plea to National Park Service to oppose power lines project

Paul French's family has had power lines towering over its property near the Delaware River for several generations. But French said he doesn't want his backyard trashed by the higher, stronger lines that two power companies are looking to stretch across the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. "Tear up a highway, not my backyard," French said. "It's dirty power, ugly power. Find another way."
