Rutgers: Rain Garden Certification Program

The Rain Garden Certification Program consists of two options for certification: Rain Garden Specialist (RGS) and Rain Garden Specialist and Trainer (RGST). In the RGS option, the trainees will learn from the experts of Rutgers Cooperative Extension about the technical side of rain garden design, as well as being engaged in a hands-on rain garden installation.  For those interested in taking it a step further, the RGST option offers training on rain garden educational programming in addition to the technical side of rain garden design and the hands-on rain garden installation. This program is offered in North Jersey on May 4 and 5, Central Jersey on April 26 and 27, and South Jersey on May 10 and 11. All are welcome and previous gardening experience is not required.  Additional information and registration for the Rain Garden Certification program is available at http://water.rutgers.edu.
