An animal rights leader from Voorhees is taking a stand against Mount Laurel's plan to kill resident Canada geese at Laurel Acres Park on South Church Street. David Sauder, coordinator of Blackwood-based Animal Rights Activists of New Jersey, said he and a few group members were going to Monday night's council meeting to offer officials alternatives to their plan. "I'd be negligent if I didn't show up," Sauder, 58, said. "All we can do is hope that they change there minds."
