New Jersey fishermen got their first look at trout stocking dates and allocations for the spring season that starts on April 10. The Division of Fish and Wildlife's annual trout stocking meeting was held yesterday, featuring this year's information from fisheries biologists, changes for the coming season, updates and time to ask fisheries biologists questions about all of it. Anglers also can fish the nearby Pequest River, which like many other North Jersey streams, has been giving up trout all winter for anglers who find fish on warm days while ice fishermen who don't mind the weather have worked on warmwater fish in the lakes and Round Valley Reservoir trolling continues.
