A two-tiered plan is in place to kill resident Canada geese in Mount Laurel, where officials and residents say the overpopulated fowl are contaminating the township's premier park. The arrangement — intended to save money on maintenance in the long run — could cost taxpayers around $260,000 over the next two decades, according to the town manager.
