Atlanticville: DOT awards $810K for Sandy Hook path extension

U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (D-6th District) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded $810,000 for extending the existing Sandy Hook multi-use pathway system from North Beach to Gunnison Beach and Fort Hancock . This figure includes $475,000 that Pallone secured in the 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act, which was approved by the president on March 11, 2009.
