Daily Record.com: Hunting only way to control deer overpopulation

Without hunting — the only proven control method on the books — deer will continue to overpopulate. Unfortunately, deer are clustering in neighborhoods where the 450-foot safety zone is too large for hunters to adequately control the herds. A 150-foot safety zone, if approved in Trenton, would make it easier to control herds in those neighborhoods.
