Courier Post Online: The Birds Are Back at the Bird Feeders

We all know the economy is down, but to make matters worse bird feeder activity from July to December was down to near zero for most people. By late August I began to run through a series of questions as to what we are doing wrong or what was going on out there. Was it the seed we are selling that they didn't like anymore? Was there some kind of mass die off? For a brief time I even wondered if the birds evolved to a point of conscious free will to where they didn't want to be around people anymore.
