Birds in Fort Lee will be safe once more, as the Borough recently passed a resolution to ban the drug Avitrol after a freak accident that led to the deaths of 30 grackles in November. "This resolution will forbid the use of Avitrol and shall be against the law in Fort Lee," announced Mayor Mark Sokolich at the last council meeting Dec. 17.
