Asbury Park Press: Beach Haven OKs plan to save beach homes from eroded dunes, sand

Residents of the storm-ravaged beachfront near Merivale Avenue will begin to see some action as the borough voted to move ahead with a GeoTube dune preservation project during their Monday meeting. "It's a matter of us having the responsibility and the obligation to ensure that we do everything in our power to make sure two houses don't fall into the ocean on our watch," Commissioner Anthony Deely said.
