On Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 1 PM, the Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership is hosting a nature walk along the Bunker Hill Natural Area. Come explore for the first time part of Ten Mile Run Greenway, in nearby Franklin Township.  This area is managed by New Jersey Audubon.  Here we will hopefully get to see the cliff along ten mile run stream which dates to the geologic Passaic formation of the lower Jurassic/early Triassic period. The area is a mix of grass and woodland habitats and is excellent for observing grassland and woodland birds and butterflies.  Be sure to bring your field glasses! We will walk approx. 3 miles on marked trails
