Wild New Jersey Exclusive: Alligator and 100-Pound Python to star at Fall Fest in Edison Oct 24

On Saturday, October 24 from 11am - 3pm, (Rain date: Sun, Oct 25) Edison Wetlands Association (EWA) will celebrate it's eighth annual Fall Fest celebration at the Triple C Ranch, the last remaining farm in the Edison area.  Located in the heart of the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area, this event will feature a wildlife presentation, live music, farm-animal petting zoom, free arts and crafts, raffles, and an eco-tour of the 1,240-acre Dismal
Swamp Conservation Area.

Hosted by WildNewJersey.tv, the wildlife presentation by Snakes-n-Scales and Turtle Tales will include an alligator, water monitor - a fearsome reptile like a Komodo drago -, and 100-pound python.  A special ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place honoring Terra Nova Garden Club and J.P. Stevens High School Garden Unit Club's successful garden project at the Triple C Ranch.  EWA will reveal the 2009 environmental awards for sustainable businesses, elected officials, and community leaders.
