Citizens and organizations are invited to give a helping hand at Compton's Creek. The cleanup will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 10am to 1pm and will remove garbage and floatables along Bray Avenue to prevent the materials from entering Sandy Hook Bay. Since the cleanup will be along road and onto mud flat adjacent toCompton's Creek during low tide be sure to wear appropriate clothing.  Meeting/parking area will be the gravel parking lot at north terminus of Main Street at Port Monmouth Road (just west of Church St in Port Monmouth).
