Wild New Jersey Exclusive: A relaxing ride down the Delaware River

WildNewJersey.tv's David Wheeler tubing on the Delaware River.
It's hard to imagine a more relaxing, soothing way to enjoy a day outside than tubing the Delaware River. Wild New Jersey joined a Delaware River Tubing tour through the placid stretches outside of Frenchtown, coasting along through some minor rapids and beautiful wooded scenery on both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania sides. Fish were spotted in large numbers along the shallow banks, and tadpoles scooted around in the stillwater shallows. Green and great blue herons criss-crossed the river, and cedar waxwings and swallows seemed to fill the skies at various points along the way.

Nothing but sky blue sky in the view from the river.

The Hot Dog Man makes for a scenic and refreshing mid-trip stop.
William and Barbara Halsted and Amy Nobile enjoy a day on the water.
