Wild New Jersey Exclusive: First-ever Raritan River Conference
The Sustainable Raritan Summit will feature a wide variety of speakers and panels including Senator Frank Lautenberg and Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac from 12:15- 1 PM, and Edison Wetlands Association Executive Director Robert Spiegel and Edison Mayor Jun Choi from 9:45 to 10:45AM. NJN will be filming the conference as part of its Raritan River documentary, and WildNewJersey.tv will air a brief documentary on the Raritan River during the lunchtime session. Topics highlighted at the conference include the environmental quality of the Raritan River, economic benefits of balanced redevelopment and restoration, regional planning, public access, and financing for a sustainable future.
