Wild New Jersey Exclusive: Edison's Turtle Pond ready for spring

With spring here, Turtle Pond in Edison is lined with turtles daily.  The majority are painted turtles and red-eared sliders, although snapping turtles, stinkpots, and spotted turtles - a New Jersey Species of Special Concern - are also found occasionally throughout the season.  Turtle Pond is a great example of a small but significant natural oasis surrounded by a sea of development.  Visit Edison Wetlands Association's Triple C Ranch to see it first-hand, or click on the short YouTube video above for a brief tour of Turtle Pond with WildNewJersey.tv's David Wheeler.
