Where is the one place on the east coast that you can stand atop dramatic sheer cliffs and take in a view of one of the world's largest cities?  Only at the Palisades.

The Greenbrook Sanctuary, part of the 2,500-acre rugged Palisades wilderness in Bergen County, offers dramatic views over the Hudson River and New York City, while providing nature lovers with fascinating insight into the region's flora and fauna through decades of scientific studies.

On two recent tours of the Palisades,
Wildnewjersey.tv's David Wheeler, encountered crumbling ruins, tumbling waterfalls, clifftop ravens, a red fox trotting across a boulder-strewn hiking trail, and the expert guidance of Greenbrook's Nancy Slowik and Palisade Insterstate Park's Christina Fehre.
