Wild New Jersey's Melanie Worob toured the dramatic Ken Lockwood Gorge in High Bridge just after the first snowfall of the season. Ice wrapped itself around the trees and branches, while the Raritan River's South Branch tumble it's way down rapids past white-tailed deer, hooded mergansers and a variety of other duckes, and many other species of winter wildlife in this scenic refuge. This link from NY-NJ Botany offers directions and other details about the gorge. Click on "more" to view more photos.
